Kristie Baouya of Painted Shiba Studio is a Canadian Artist. Kristie's creative journey began in 1992 with drawing and watercolor classes at the Surrey Arts Centre. She continued to hone her skills throughout high school, earning several awards and scholarships. Afterward, she pursued Fine Arts at Kwantlen University College, earning a Fine Arts Diploma and later a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Design. Kristie then went on to studied Display + Design, earning her Diploma from Langara College in Vancouver.

Today, she creates in her home studio in Chilliwack, British Columbia, often with her Shiba Inu, Ryder, by her side.
